(SSI) Supplemental Security Income

SSI is a federal benefit program for people with disabilities who have limited income and resources. SSI provides cash assistance to individuals who are either age 65 and older, blind or disabled, including children. The amount of cash benefit you receive is based on the Federal Benefit Rate and the amount of income you receive.
