Virginia Tech Autism Clinic (VTAC)

Improving quality of life for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder through intervention, education and research.

Our clinic provides diagnostic evaluations of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) for infants, children, adolescents and adults. The primary goals of the comprehensive evaluations are to determine diagnosis, assess developmental skills, and obtain a complete understanding of the child in order to provide recommendations for treatment and service planning.

Partnership for People with Disabilities

The Partnership is organized around four areas of emphasis: community living, early intervention/early childhood, education and health.

Virginia Autism Council (VAC)

The Virginia Autism Council is a group comprised of self-advocates, professionals and family members. This Council works to advance knowledge and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders by defining skill competencies needed to effectively support a person with ASD and to advance higher education, training and educational opportunities for personnel and caregivers who provide support.

Virginia Autism Resource Center at VCU

Through integrative research, outreach and collaborative initiatives, VARC promotes and facilitates best practices for those diagnosed within the autism spectrum. Information, resources, and education and training help parents, educators, service providers and medical professionals provide effective support from early childhood through adulthood
