ACEing Autism-Tennis Program

Each week participants will work on different fundamentals of the game of tennis. Participants will have an opportunity to increase their social skills through taking turns, working in teams, and following instructions. Activities each week will include:

Opportunities Unlimited

Opportunities Unlimited provides personal, social, and behavioral skills trainign for adults with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disabilities.

This program serves the residents of James City County, City of Poquoson, City of Williamsburg, and York County.

This program facilitates self-empowerment, community integration, and independent living through skills assessment and person-centered planning. Services include: 

Entertainment and Travel Guide

An interactive guide for families of children with developmental disabilities. It includes a nationwide activity map and links for travel tips.  


Autism on the Seas

Autism on the Seas, a national organization,  has been in collaboration with Royal Caribbean International since 2007 in developing cruise vacation services to accommodate adults and families living with children with Special Needs, including, but not limited to, Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Tourette Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and all Cognitive, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.  These services quickly expanded to other cruise lines.
